Trinity Kids

SUNDAY SCHEDULE

During the service, our younger children are taught in three classrooms - Nursery (0-walkers), Toddlers (walkers-36 mo), and Preschoolers (3-5 year olds). To the left of the lobby you will see a sign for Trinity Kids and the hallway that leads to the classrooms and check-in area.

Kids may be checked in and taken to their classroom 15 minutes prior to the 10:30am service. They should be picked up within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the service. School-aged children are welcome to remain in the worship service the entire time.

CURRICULUM
Each week, the Caregivers will use Truth78 Curriculum to teach age-appropriate Bible stories throughout the year.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

Stickers:
Each child must be checked in prior to proceeding to their room. Guests should come to the check-in station staffed by the Hall Monitor. Members and returning guests already in our database may proceed to the self-service station. Each child receives a sticky tag with a number on it, which corresponds to a number for their parent or guardian, which will be used to claim the child after the service. Once parents and children have their stickers, they may proceed to the rooms.

Sign-in Sheets:
At the door Nursery and Toddler rooms will be a sign in sheet. Each parent or guardian must sign in the child(ren) on the sheet with numbered lines. The number they sign next to will correspond with a pager number which the parent or guardian will keep during the service and must return at pick-up.

SNACKS

During the morning, Toddlers and Preschoolers will be given a small cup of water and a snack such as Rice Chex or Veggie Sticks. Nursery Caregivers may administer a bottle if it is clearly labeled. The Nursery Caregivers are also able to offer Baby Puffs if a child is in need of a snack.

DIAPERS AND BATHROOMS

Parents should take their child to the bathroom before coming to the classroom. If children are toilet-trained, they may use the bathroom on their own. Caregivers will not accompany a child into the bathroom or assist the child on the toilet. If assistance is needed, the parent or guardian will be paged. Caregivers will not change diapers. If a diaper change is needed, the parent or guardian will be paged.

WHO LEADS OUR KIDS ON SUNDAY MORNING?

Parents can rest assured that everyone serving with children on Sunday morning has been background-checked. No other adults (other than the parents and guardians at pick up and drop off) should be in the childcare area if they are not on duty that weekend.

If you have any questions, please send them to info@trinityloudoun.org. Thanks!
